Indication for Use
Extension set is used for administration of fluids and medication during intravenous therapy. It protects the patient and nursing staff from exposures to fluids and needlestick injuries.
Instructions and Features
1. Fluid pathway is STERILE and NON-PYROGENIC.
2. Prime the set with sterile saline.
3. Flush the I.V. cannula or catheter after each fluidintervention per facility protocol.
4. Attach the injector or serum set.
5. After the operation, dispose of as per the hospital policy or national guidelines.
6. Set is suitable for Blood transfusion,Lipids, Oncology, MRI procedures, High flow rate infusions.
7. Fully compatible with emergency glass syringe infusions.
8. Free of latex, DEHP.
9. May be used for all patients and all patient care settings where vascular access devices are utilized.
