The Disinfection Cap is a sterile, single-use accessory designed to disinfect and protect needle-free connectors used in intravenous therapy. It contains a high-absorption sponge saturated with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and is intended to provide passive disinfection by remaining attached to the needle-free valve when not in use.
